The day at the race.

It rained for the entire trip up there. The race was in Delaware which is a 4 1/2 hour drive. Delaware seems to be a lovely state and the people were friendly enough.

It stopped raining when the race started and I must admit I got excited hearing the roar of the engines and watching the cars turn into blurs as the sped along so very fast and close together.

It was heard to follow without someone telling you what order the drivers were in. I got bored after an hour and fiddled around with the scanner to see if I could listen to the pit crews. Instead I listened to Dover Downs security yelling about hours worked.

My mom was super happy when we found Ricky Rudd's trailor and money was spend, pictures snapped.

I'm glad she had such a great time. I'd do anything for my mom.
