Well we never made it to the casino.

We got pulled over inside and after everything the police made us ditch the car in a lot in Old Lyme or something and i had to call my mom to pick us up.

I was really scared as the boy was talking to the trooper outside of the car. I sat very still and waited, shivering because the window was down and it was windy. I didn't bring a jacket and only had on a little loose knit sweater over my sleeveless dress. I was also hungry and in need of the bathroom.

So my mom stopped at McDonalds for us and I got a pretty decent salad with chicken.

So now we are scrambling around trying to right things in the eyes of the law. We never had our super fun night out and I was alittle bummed.

Today I walked around New Haven while snowflakes danced over my eyelids. I smiled up at the grey sky and felt so much peace that I didn't want to go inside and fill my prescription. I wanted that moment forever. The sounds of the Postal Service ringing in my ears..the feeling in my heart. So I walked on and on for almost two hours. Adventuring down streets I never explored listening to the same song over and over because I could.

Nothing bothered me out there. Not the bills, not my work preformance, not wedding plans. Just me, the music and the snow.
